Behind The Attic Door

In this piece, the depiction is of a child who overcomes and in time befriends the moody dragon. I’ve tried to hint at the dragon’s benign nature by the bubbles it is blowing ….. instead of its usual fire. I’ve also put a slight smile on the dragon’s face. Elizabeth, the child, is fearless and defiant, which is a clear indication that all will be well in the end …. but she is protecting her little doll, just in case …..
