The Green Violin
This graphic is to celebrate and give some recognition to Jordan, a street musician, who plays the most beautiful violin music in Vancouver, Canada. I met him recently, playing his green violin on the street and I was mesmerized by the amazingly beautiful sounds he was playing. The music was haunting, lilting, often frantic gypsy strains. The first time I heard him I couldn’t pull myself away, I was late for work. And I noticed that it was having the same effect on others, who were gathering to listen.
He told me he has been living on the street for years. We’ve become friends.
The beautiful girl in this graphic is someone I just recently met through a website called Deviantart. She just joined Flickr and her Flickr name is Shiny Shaz. I’m certain she will enjoy the warm and friendly atmosphere of Flickr. Here is the link to her photostream:

Pleaes, if you post any of my digital art images, they should each say “digital art by Gale Franey”. Currently it says “originally uploaded by Gale Franey”, which sounds as though the image is not my own art. I spent many long hours creating these digital art pieces.
