My Scarlet Fever Princess

Yes simone has scarlet fever. It started off as a rash on her back but by Monday morning it had spread through every inch of her body. I thought she was having an allergic reaction to something she ate but this wasn’t the case.

Then tuesday and today ,she had a fever of 102.7. She was crying often through the day because she felt awful. I mean anything with a rash that comes with a fever is something of a virus or illness. I got scared and drove her to the hospital since everything i gave her to bring her fever down and to ease her pain of the rashes wasn’t doing any good.

After sitting at the hospital for 2 hours, we found out she had scarlet fever. Wow! Does that still exist? She was crying once she heard it because she was scared of being in the hospital plus she wasn’t feeling good.

What was so sincere of her and loving of her is that she knew that it was going to cost me money for bringing her to the hospital. She kept on saying she was sorry for costing me money. What child says that at age 10? By that age, do they really know the value of a dollar?

I just smiled and said “It’s okay. I wanted to make sure that you were going to be okay because mommy got scared.” I mean literally she had me scared. She didn’t eat, drink, fever, rash, speaking things out loud as if she was insane and rolling her eyes back where i would see white.

Well she is home now sleeping and hopefully the medicine they gave her will make her feel better. My favorite model, daughter and princess will be taking a vacation from modeling for awhile.
